About This Project
Project with Sofie Aaldering for the city Amersfoort.
The city of Amersfoort wanted new ideas for playing in the city. So Sofie and I defined what playing is for us and formed a concept that includes not only children in playing. Our idea was it to hang huge installations in de the shopping streets, which will project colorful shadows on the street when the sun is shining. These colorful shadows on the ground and people invite to play and let their imagination go wild.
The forms we used for the installations are elements of the city map.
